Vinod Lele, hailing from the illustrious Banaras gharana of tabla playing and mentored by the esteemed Kashinath Khandekar, boasts a rich musical journey. Alongside his Sangeet Praveen degree from the Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad, he has garnered acclaim as a gold medalist. His exceptional talent shone brightly when he clinched the first prize in the Uttar Pradesh Sangeet Natak Akademi competition in 1982 and triumphed again in the All India Radio music competition in 1983.
